Vacating Tenants

Ending tenancy for either the Landlord or tenant must be stated in the form of writing.

At the beginning of the tenancy, Tenants are provided with a detailed Tenant’s pack outlining our expectations in relation to the final inspection. We will liaise with the outgoing tenant to co-ordinate inspections for prospective tenants. This will optimise the chance of having someone ready to move in once the property becomes available. Upon the property becoming vacant, we carry out a final inspection to ensure that the property has been left in a clean and tidy manner. We complete the Bond Claim form provided the property and the final inspection are satisfactory and will have the money disbursed to the tenant. However, should the property not be left in a satisfactory manner (fair wear and tear exempt), then the required deductions are made from the bond prior to disbursement.
